​Abstract Submission Guidelines

  1. Abstracts should be written in English.

  2. Abstract should not exceed 350 words. 

  3. Abstracts should be structured one with following sub-headings indicating in bold - Background; Objectives; Methods; Results; Conclusion. Always define abbreviations and acronyms.

The submitted abstract will be reviewed by the expert committee of related field and the authors will be notified about the acceptance by Email.  If accepted for oral presentation the selected author will be invited to present the scientific paper/lecture in conference.

Abstracts that are submitted must NOT have been previously presented in any other conference or published anywhere in any form.

Registration will be mandatory for every participant. Spot registration will be done through Cash only.

​GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

 

GENERAL GUIDELINES

 

Abstracts should be written in English.

 

General aim and format

A poster is a graphically based approach to present a research work.

Use “visuals” (graphs, photographs, maps or schematics etc.) to present the poster.

Design and layout specifications

The entire poster must be prepared to be displayed on a 4’ X 3’ flex or art paper (minimum 250 GSM).

The poster must be oriented in the portrait position (long dimension is vertical).

Make it obvious to the viewer how to progressively view the poster. The poster should read from left to right and top to bottom.

It is advisable to use a minimum font size of 18 points for text materials and 60 points for title. The poster must be readable from a distance of 1.5 meter.

Present numerical data preferably in the form of graphs rather than table.

Visuals should be simple and self explanatory. Leave out any unnecessary details.

Make sure that the visuals can stand alone i.e graph axes are properly labeled, maps have north arrows and distance scales, symbols are explained.

Use colour to enhance comprehension, not to decorate the poster.

 

Poster presentation

Poster should be in English.

The presenter must be present at the exhibition site half an hour before the scheduled time.

The presenter should remain at the poster site for discussion for his/ her work throughout the scheduled time of display of poster.

The presenter may distribute handouts, but there will be no copying facility at the conference venue.

Please communicate to the organising committee of ICMLS-2024 if the presenter is unable to exhibit the poster.

If there is any change of the presenting author, the new presenting author must be registered for the conference.

Format of Abstracts:
Title:

Please be as brief and explicit as possible.

Do not use abbreviations or acronyms in the title.

 

Name(s) of Author(s)

Please mention the full name(s).

Maximum 6 authors are allowed.

Abstract Text

Should not exceed 300 words.

It must be prepared in MS Word format.

A 12 point font, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing should be used.

Abstracts should be structured one with following sub-headings indicating in bold - Background; Objectives;                     Methods; Results; Conclusion.

Always define abbreviations and acronyms including standard measures. Place special or unusual abbreviations in           parentheses after the full word the first time it appears.

Each abstract must be complete, i.e. it must include all information necessary for its comprehension and not refer to another text.
